		<description><![CDATA[(Soon to be glorified St.) Dabovich has been proven correct on St. Innocent&#039;s presence in CA.  St. Innnocent&#039;s diary of his travels in CA, his assessments of the Ross colony (where he did baptize and did bless the local river), his visit to the San Francisco Mexican mission (IIRC he later sent the padres an organ he made in Sitka), etc. have now been published.  He also expressed concern about CA on his return to Russia (he was against closing the colony), and prevailed that the Orthodox should be taken to AK (not all were, however): a linguist studying the local Pomo Amerindian language depended on an informant whose grandmother (from whom he learned the stories he related) was baptized but stayed in  CA.]]></description>
